As we posted previously, Governor Evers and Lt. Governor Barnes are holding four virtual listening sessions on various issue topics as they begin the 2021-23 state budget process. The listening session focusing on education is Wednesday evening (12/16):

Budget Listening Session on Our Schools and Education
Wednesday, December 16 at 6 p.m.

“The listening session will begin with all participants in a large group meeting where they will hear from both Governor Evers and Lieutenant Governor Barnes. After the introduction, all participants will be automatically moved to small group breakout rooms where they can have a more in-depth discussion on various budget topics. Staff from the Governor and Lieutenant Governor’s offices will be in the breakout room to help facilitate discussion and take notes on any feedback given, along with members of the Governor’s Cabinet, administration staff, and state legislators. The governor and lieutenant governor will be joining smaller group discussions throughout the evening.”
