WASB Alumni Association Membership
Are you a former Wisconsin school board member who served at least six years on your local board and would like to stay informed and involved?
Wisconsin public education cannot afford to lose the advocacy, interest or expertise of its former board members. Therefore, the Wisconsin Association of School Boards urges you to become a member of the WASB Alumni Association.
As a member, you will receive regular mailings of the monthly Wisconsin School News magazine and the weekly eConnection Newsletter, as well as notices of upcoming WASB seminars, workshops, conferences and the annual WASB/WASDA/WASBO State Education Convention. All WASB meeting fees, including for the annual convention, are waived for Alumni members— you pay only the cost of meals.
To join, complete this form. If you would like to receive the e-newsletter, be sure to include your email address.
The annual fee is $35 for the 2016-17 school year. Submit the form online, and mail a check to the WASB (at 122 W. Washington Ave, Suite 400, Madison, WI 53703), or call 608-257-2622 to pay by credit card.
Per WASB Bylaws, WASB Alumni Association members must have served on a Wisconsin school board for at least six years.
We also encourage former school board members to sign up for the WASB Legislative Update blog to continue to stay informed of legislative activity related to K-12 education. You can do that directly, with or without being a member of the WASB Alumni Association, by entering in your email address and clicking on the Follow button on the blog page.
