The WASB Breakfast is held in the Crystal Ballroom at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center. This is a ticketed event, and the cost is $47.

Join Scott Levy, author of “Why School Boards Matter” and a member of a public school board in New York, for a sit-down breakfast before listening in on his keynote exploring how boards are in a unique position to solve pressing educational challenges. He’ll discuss avoiding initiative fatigue, fostering a positive district climate, engaging productively with the community and driving local accountability. He will also remind attendees of the essential role school boards play, empower them to tackle challenges together, and share why every K-12 stakeholder has a vested interest in understanding how school boards shape education.

WASBO Luncheon

Thursday, January 21, 12-1:15 p.m.

Hosted by the Wisconsin Association of School Business Officials, honoring the School Business Managers of the Year.

This is a $59 ticketed event held in the Empire Ballroom at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center.

Food and Concessions

Breakfast, lunch and snack items as well as hot and cold beverages are available in the Exhibit Hall and on the ground floor of the Baird Center.

There will be an Exhibit Hall Breakfast on Wednesday, Jan. 20, from 9-10 a.m.

A light complimentary breakfast will be available to all convention attendees.
