A state legislative committee will hold a hearing with invited experts to discuss future state revenue projections. It could be an interesting discussion for school leaders to see what kind of state dollars may be available to fund K-12 education in the 2021-23 state budget. The Assembly Committee on Ways and Means will meet Wednesday, December 2 at 11:00 am in room 412 East of the State Capitol and streamed live on WisconsinEye.

From the hearing notice:

“Members of the Assembly Committee on Ways and Means will host a discussion with Department of Revenue and Legislative Fiscal Bureau officials on revenue outlooks through the next fiscal year. Due to the utilization of social distancing guidelines, seating in room 412 East may be limited. Testimony will be from invited speakers only. Members of the public may observe through WisconsinEye coverage available at https://wiseye.org/live/ .”
