About WASB

Region 1 board members elected Joe Weiss at to the WASB Board of Directors on Oct. 6, at Fall Regional Meeting in Hayward. He began his term at the close of the meeting, serving the unexpired portion of former Region 1 Director Linda Flottum, who resigned from the Turtle Lake School Board in the summer of 2026. The term will last until January 2028.

 

The WASB Board of Directors had appointed Rice Lake School Board President Keven Jensen as the interim Region 1 director on Aug. 20, 2026. Jensen served until the Fall Regional Meeting election.
