Linda Flottum, Turtle Lake

Linda was reelected to a three-year term on the WASB Board of Directors beginning January 2025. Having been first elected to the Turtle Lake School Board in April 1994, Linda has served the district for over 27 years, holding the positions of treasurer, president and clerk. Committee positions include Policy, Employee Compensation and Collaborative/Community Advisory. During referendums, she served on the Security and Curriculum Committees. For several years, Linda was Turtle Lake School Board’s CESA 11 Representative and attended CESA PAC Meetings. She has served as Turtle Lake WASB Delegate to the Assembly, served three years on the WASB Policy & Resolutions Committee, and received Level 5 in the WASB Member Recognition Program.

Linda received her associate of arts degree from UW-Barron County in Rice Lake. Prior to retiring, she had been a legal secretary, Barron County 911 coordinator/dispatcher/jailer and office administrator. Linda and her husband, Tom, have been married for over 43 years and have three grown sons and seven grandchildren. They live in the Village of Turtle Lake, where they both serve in community-based organizations.

Linda believes that by working together through education, we can provide a brighter, successful future for our children, our communities and our country.
