Convention Security Details

We want everyone to have an engaging, safe and informative experience at the Wisconsin State Education Convention. With this in mind, security is at the forefront of our concerns as we prepare for the convention.

Weapons screening detectors will be placed at every entrance to the Baird Center, including skywalks. No person can enter the Baird Center without passing through these screeners. We have worked closely with the Public Safety Department throughout our convention planning.

Additionally, to report a medical crisis or other emergency with the Baird Center’s house phones, dial “EMERGENCY-6165” instead of “911” to guarantee the fastest response.
