At the 2023 Spring Workshops, we provided the first introduction to the new WASB governance framework, the Essential Elements of Governance. A WASB consultant covered:
- All five areas of focus:
- Communication and engagement
- Quality leadership
- Strategic focus on the future
- Accountability
- Governing for high levels of learning for all children
- Importance of the moral imperative
- Common challenges boards face with good governance
