Discover the heart of Hayes Bilingual School, where more than 600 Milwaukee Public Schools students thrive as bilingual learners and innovative scholars. Tour the campus and see how the focus on biliteracy and cutting-edge STEAM education prepares students for success. Attendees will experience the:

Fab Lab: See students—from kindergarten to middle school—designing and building in engineering laboratories.

STEAM Project Showcase: Hear directly from students about their projects, including the Green and Healthy Schools initiative that renovated schoolyard (featuring a turf soccer field and outdoor classrooms). This redeveloped space, supported by the nonprofit organization Reflo and other partners, is a living lab for environmental science.

Bilingual Program Overview: Learn how certified teachers lead a curriculum focused on biliteracy in Spanish and English, preparing graduates for high school.

The “Familia” Difference: Meet current Hayes parents who will share their experience and demonstrate the strength of the community.
Shuttle pick-up/drop-off location is at the ground floor doors of the Baird Center on the corner of W. Wells Street and N. Vel R. Phillips Avenue (between Ballrooms A/B and C/D).
