2025 WASB Day at the Capitol
Wednesday, March 12, 2025
Monona Terrace & Wisconsin State Capitol
Join school board members and administrators from around the state to advocate for your schools!
We’ll spend the morning discussing the latest updates on the 2025-27 state budget and other legislation. State budget experts and legislative leaders will provide insights into current developments, while WASB staff will share key talking points for advocates to use in their Capitol meetings.
Then, we’ll be ready to meet with legislators in their Capitol offices. The WASB will schedule afternoon meetings for you. Come prepared to discuss your district’s top priorities and share local examples to support your points. Given the importance of this state budget for school districts facing limited state funding increases, it’s essential for school leaders to make their voices heard.
