August 2025 Wisconsin School News
The August issue of Wisconsin School News celebrates student voices and the power of involvement. It features the Kaukauna School District’s adaptive triathlon, an inspiring event that unites students of all abilities through perseverance, teamwork and shared achievement. The issue also spotlights student leaders serving on school boards, members of the WIAA Student-Athlete Leadership Team, and Holmen High School students making an impact on school culture. In addition, it explores the impact of declining enrollment on school districts and offers insights into potential responses, while also examining how the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District is cutting energy costs through investing in renewable energy technologies.
