State funding for digital mapping of school buildings available

Applications are now being accepted for the 2021 Wisconsin Act 109 Digital Mapping of School Buildings-2022. The project period for this funding opportunity is July 1^st, 2022 – June 30^th, 2024.  Applications will only be accepted in Egrants.

The passage of 2021 Wisconsin Act 109 amends 2017 Wisconsin Act 143, now allowing school boards, governing bodies of private schools, charter schools, and tribal schools to submit digital maps of their school buildings, (in lieu of blueprints) to the Office of School Safety to comply with 2017 Wisconsin Act 143 and 2021 Wisconsin Act 109.  (more…)
