With no inflationary increase in spendable resources from the state for the past two years and a fiscal cliff looming as federal COVID (ESSER) funds run out, many districts are contemplating significant cuts in programs and staff. School districts need resources to cover ongoing expenses, including for teachers and staff, in a period where inflation is running at a 40-year high. It is crucial that legislators and the public understand your situation.
