Since 2004, Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) has implemented the nationally known Project Lead The Way (PLTW) pre-engineering program. MPS now has the nation’s largest footprint of PLTW with 28 schools and over 5,400 children in grades 6-12.

This tour will visit two MPS schools—Escuela Vieau K-8 and Bradley Tech High School — to see PLTW students in action and hear from teachers, the program coach and administrators about strategies for successfully using design-based learning, integrating academic and technical lessons, and growing STEM education.
