The Government Relations team will begin their state budget-focused webinar series Capitol Chat on Friday, February 24 at noon. These will be shorter weekly webinars every Friday at noon primarily focusing on developments at the Capitol with an opportunity to ask questions. We plan to record these webinars for those who are not able to watch live.You can access the Capitol Chat webinars on our NEW State Budget Webpage (among other places). The webpage has been redesigned in a more user-friendly format and includes:
- recent state budget-related blog posts;
- the “Spendable Resources vs. Inflation” chart;
- budget-related documents including DPI’s budget request and Legislative Fiscal Bureau memos; and
- the members of the budget-writing Joint Finance Committee including their contact information and a link to look at a map of their legislative districts.
Look for updates to this page after the governor’s budget is released on Feb. 15.
